DESCRIPTION:The USC Emeriti Center College in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden presented \n“Cultivating a Healthy Brain”\nSpeaker: Dr. Robert Tager\, M.D. \nThursday\, April 27 \n9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. \nRSVP Online: bit.ly/Arboretum4-27-17 \n– \nThis class explored scientific evidence of controllable factors that can enhance and maintain healthy cognitive function. It began with an introduction to pertinent aspects of brain function and a review of developments that have influenced current thought about maintaining and enhancing cognitive function. The discussion continued during a walk through the gardens. \nDr. Robert Tager is a neurologist and gerontologist whose recent courses at USC have included “Introduction to Clinical Medicine”\, “Ethical Issues in Geriatric Health Care” and “Introduction to Neuroscience”.
